Up against the clock

New Zealand Red Cross are not only always up against the clock, they are up against very tight budgets. Creating a simple but powerful device to emphasise the urgency and still connect emotionally with viewers was of utmost importance. The idea of a flip clock, turning over and revealing scenes of international and local aid response fitted the bill nicely. Doing buckets of good

Great to be part of the Black team doing Buckets of Good for the Red Cross. All charities are finding it hard going in the current cost of living crisis, so hoping this campaign will pull the right heart strings. Music always plays a strong part in building emotion and for this campaign we chose a track from composer Maurizio Malagnini – who also scored tracks for “Call the Midwife”. Credits: Agency Black.
