This famous commercial from the mid 90’s almost never happened thanks to a wild storm. The first day was rained off after just a few shots, so we came back the following day to Kari Kari beach and managed to get enough in the can to complete the spot.  A rogue wave actually swept many of the cast into the sea – which can be seen in this “making of” video.  A day after it went to air, Paul Kayser ran past a school and heard the kids singing the jingle. We knew we had a hit. It ran for 13 years and they still use the music and sometimes the lyrics.
